'MeadowFoyerPortal began with a simple dream: to share authentic Neapolitan pizza with London. Established by the Davies family in 1985, our pizzeria started as a small, family-run spot with recipes handed down through generations.
'Charlotte Davies, our founder, learned the craft of pizza-making during travels across Italy, studying under master pizzaiolos in Naples—the birthplace of pizza. After returning to the UK, she aimed to recreate the magic of true Italian pizza using traditional methods and the finest ingredients.
What started as a modest 12-seat pizzeria has since grown into a cherished local staple, yet our commitment to quality and authenticity remains unchanged. We still use the same wood-fired oven techniques, prepare dough fresh daily, and source top-quality ingredients wherever we can find them.
Today, 'MeadowFoyerPortal remains a family-owned and -operated business, with the second generation of the Davies family now leading our passionate team. While embracing some modern innovations, the core of our work remains the same: crafting delicious, authentic pizza that brings people together.
